I am pregnant!!!

We are happy to announce that we are pregnant with baby #3. I will be due on May 27th. We are all so excited. Ashlyn can not wait to be a big sister and not be the baby any more. Right now she is saying that she wants a baby brother. On the other hand Alexis cried when she found out. She was not happy. She is so afraid that it will be a boy and she does not want a brother. Alexis is very happy about the baby now but is still nervous about the chance of it being a boy. If it is a boy I think that she will be ok with it once it sinks in and she sees how sweet it is. We will find out soon enough.

We had our first ulta sound and everything looked great! The baby had a flickering heart beat and was the right size. We even have the first baby picture at 6 weeks.

Ashlyn's 1st Day of Pre-K

Ashlyn was so excited to go to school, she could not wait. She has been wanting to go for so long. She loves her class and her teachers. She walked right in and went to her desk, we had to call her back to tell us bye. She was ready. She comes home singing different songs all the time and telling us what she has learned. She is so proud and feels so big. She does get frustrated that Alexis is in school longer and goes everyday but she will say I will go to Lexi's school next year, right Mommy. She wants to be so big so fast. I had to pick her up early the other day to go to a Dr appointment and she got so mad that she didn't get to finish her day at school. I pulled her out at nap time thinking that she would be happy that she is not having to lay down, but she was mad. She is doing wonderful and loves school.

1st Day of 3rd Grade

Alexis was so excited to go back to school for 3rd grade. She was so excited because over half her class from last year is in her class again including her best friend. Of course she is complaining that she is bored because of all the reviewing that they have to get out of the way but that is already getting better. The work is getting more challenging and she is loving it.

Happy 5th Birthday Ashlyn

Our bif girl Ashlyn has turned 5!! She had a huge Scooby Doo indoor swimming party. She had all her friends there to help her celebrate and they all had a blast. The swimming pool had 2 slides and the kids loved them. The water was so warm and nice, it was like bath water. It felt so awesome. She had blue, green and purple scooby doo cupcakes with a little scooby doo figure sitting on top of them. Mommy also made her a special scooby doo outfit. It is nearly impossible to find little girls scooby doo clothes. I looked every were and then decided to make her something. Fabric was also hard to find, I had to order this fabric on ebay. The Scooby outfit turned out beautiful and is one of her favorite things to wear. She wants to wear it everyday. She had a great time!
